Experience
Appointed by the Stellar Development Foundation to serve as East Africa's primary market development lead. Architected the East Africa University Circuit across 6+ campuses, onboarding 500+ builders into the Stellar ecosystem. Designed and delivered Build Week Hackathons and developer bootcamps, carrying builders from initial concept through to working prototype and SDF grant application. Managed the East Africa pipeline for SDF Community Fund applicants across consecutive grant cycles.
Built and scaled developer communities across multiple African countries, cultivating a pan-African network connecting founders, engineers, and innovators to global Web3 ecosystems. Mentored 50+ early-stage Web3 entrepreneurs on product strategy, go-to-market execution, tokenomics, and grant applications — with several securing ecosystem funding and accelerator placements. Contributed strategic expertise on financial inclusion, cross-border payments, and DeFi product design for African markets.
Represented hardware wallet security and exchange adoption within East African Web3 communities, producing educational content on digital asset security, self-custody, and regional market adoption.
